Our Story
At Max Burley & Company, every piece begins at the workbench of Tom Carson, where leather is cut, shaped, and stitched by hand. What started as a simple gift for his wife grew into something more—bags made with care, built to be used, and meant to last.
The name Max Burley honors Tom’s mother, Maxine Burley, born in 1919. Her legacy lives on in the values behind every product: hard work, attention to detail, and doing things the right way.
